Compensation Analyst

Opportunity Overview

Department Summary:

The HR/Compensation department is responsible for the development, implementation and administration of total cash compensation practices and programs for home office and branch associates.

Responsibility Summary:

  • Provides excellent customer service by responding timely to Financial Advisors and BOA requests with detailed information, guidance and support on standard and complex compensation issues involving the interpretation and application of branch compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Compensation team and talent acquisition to ensure base pay competitiveness, and balance internal equity within the local pay structure.
  • Understand labor market data and ensures that compensation remains competitive to attract, retain and motivate associates.
  • Provides support and guidance to Financial Advisors regarding compensation processes.
  • Research and analyze data to determine appropriate salary levels
  • Understand developments in federal and state wage and hour laws, competitor pay practices and general industry trends.

Preferred Work Schedule/Hours 40 hours per week; 8:00AM-5:00PM (hours somewhat flexible)

Position Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Strong verbal communication and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good understanding of compensation practices as well as total rewards
  • Strong math and spreadsheet skills (specifically, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field
  • Three to five years experience in the Compensation Analyst capacity
