Accounts Payable Specialist ( Oracle)

5 Month Contract for now

Englewood, CO 80112

8am - 5pm


General Summary:

Will be responsible for assisting internal and external customers in North America and Canada regions. The duties and responsibilities are to be completed within the Service Level Agreement to ensure quality customer service to our internal and external customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for vendor reconciliations
  • Ability to interpret Oracle complex and simple Purchase Orders for matching
  • Able to upload Excel templates into Oracle and resolve exceptions
  • Necessary to follow standardized procedures, practices and techniques
  • Proactive with lean process improvements
  • Inputs approved invoices, check requests, logs, manual timesheets and other various documents into Oracle per established procedures.
  • Responsible for invoice problem resolution for set vendors
  • Necessary to work with procurement and/or outside vendors to resolve routine questions or problems.
  • Performs testing and implementation of new system enhancements
  • Able to work overtime for projects as needed
  • Answering phone calls from internal and external customers
  • Opening, processing incoming mail received to the Denver office

Education, Experience, & Certifications:

  • Oracle Accounts Payable Experience (Minimum 2-3 Years)
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
  • Team player with ability to collaborate on complex AP processes
  • Experience with answering phones is a must

  • College Degree preferred or work experience equivalent

  • 3-5 years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
