Job Description






The Analytics Services team is responsible for implementing company business intelligence and data warehousing solutions.
These solutions leverage the technology of SAP/Business Objects and HP Vertica to provide our clients with the capability to store and consolidate clinical and financial data in order to facilitate powerful reporting and analytics.
This role will have an emphasis on State and Public Health, specifically the Medicaid environment.
Reporting and Analytics focuses on providing knowledge out of the Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) to support reporting, research, and State Medicaid process optimization.
The Reporting and Analytics team develops and iteratively improves an optimized process model and assures that the business process supports the clinical, operational and financial goals of institutions.
Once the optimal process is defined, the Reporting and Analytics development team defines process improvements as well as clinical decision support that can be embedded into the Medicaid market workflow.
As an Analytics Consultant you will be an expert in implementing company solutions and will be the primary contact for the client's solution specific implementation, training, troubleshooting, and consultation.








Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Care or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

  • At least 5 years of work experience with operational, clinical, financial or healthcare metrics

  • 3 years Medicaid experience and an understanding on Medicaid Managed Care-must have previous Medicaid experience

  • Preferred Qualifications:


    • At least 1 year of work experience in health care IT or health care consulting

    • Familiarity with MITA and Business Architecture/Baseline Process Model creation

    • Basic SQL skills

    • Familiarity with Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and ETL concepts

    • Experience with Tableau

    • Experience with Business Objects





Expectations:




    • Willing to travel up to 25% as needed

    • Willing to work overtime or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

    • Must be located in, or willing to relocate to TopekaApplicants for U.S. based positions with company Corporation

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
