Associate Subcontracts Administrator

1 year contract to start

Cary, NC 27518

8am - 4:30

For projects of every scale we provide design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and maintenance services that support a facility's entire life cycle.

Position Summary:

Responsibilities include support of Subcontracting Team with procuring Construction Trade Services Contracts. Limited use and/or application of basic supply chain principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards. Performs assignments of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures under close supervision.

  • Interviews and confers with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule
  • Work with the Project Team to develop the procurement plan and qualify suppliers
  • Determine method of procurement, such as direct purchase or competitive bid
  • Prepare Request for Proposals (RFP's) and issue for bid
  • Review bid proposals through a commercial evaluation and negotiate contracts / purchase orders within budgetary limitations and scope of authority
  • Support daily processes and formulated resolutions for change orders, transportation, and expediting on orders placed
  • This position typically requires BS or MS degree and 0-2 years' related experience
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
