Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Identify and promote the use of industry standard automated testing practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and solutions in the development of a common Selenium framework and reusable automated testing components to support internal applications in their transition to automated testing.
  • Develop prototypes and reference architectures to be leveraged by application teams.
  • Actively participate in code and design walkthroughs of automated testing implementations across the division.
  • Work with teams and leadership to develop meaningful metrics around automated testing.
  • Drive standardization and innovation of automated testing in areas such as:
    o Selenium frameworks
    o Automated testing code review
    o BDD Tools such as Cucumber
    o Integration of automated testing with the development pipeline


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field of study or commensurate experience
  • 3+ year experience using a mainstream automated testing tool (e.g. Selenium) in a technical capacity.
  • 7+ years development experience in enterprise-level applications using Java or similar language.
  • Experience working as an Architect or comparable experience in a Senior or Leadership technical role.
  • Experience with Spring (Core, Security, Data/JPA, Boot, Batch, Integration, LDAP), and Hibernate a plus.
  • Experience with UNIX / Linux operating systems a plus.
  • Experience with SOAP or RESTFul web services a plus.
  • Have excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) and strong ability to work with internal and external constituents at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong ability to write meaningful, complex documents such as software development specifications, network and other architectural diagrams and architecture proposals.
  • Travel (10%)
