Job Description

  • Act as a liaison between business departments, key stakeholders, vendors and IT to elicit, document, analyze and validate business requirements.

  • Develop facilitation skills in meetings with business departments, IT resources, key stakeholders and third-party vendors as needed to resolve issues, determine solutions and identify continuous improvements.

  • Conduct one-on-one interviews, brainstorming sessions, group work sessions, Joint Application Development (JAD) workshops and surveys when necessary.

  • Support medium complexity projects with some degree of supervision.

  • Analyze, identify, and direct solutions (process changes and system enhancements) to eliminate problems, improve user effectiveness, and improve system accuracy.

  • Utilize networks to gather pertinent project information quickly and efficiently.

  • Integrate knowledge, experience and value to make more accurate decisions. Appropriately document knowledge and share lessons learned for medium complexity projects.

  • Develop experience with facilitation of issue meetings, including tracking issues and managing action items for medium complexity projects with some degree of supervision.

  • Identify points of conflict and appropriately escalate, involving major stakeholders to target satisfactory resolution.

  • Facilitate review and signoff of design changes to ensure design changes meet business requirements with some level of supervision.

  • Act as a liaison between IT and business customers by communicating changes to designs and test plans, identifying problems, providing status updates and facilitating signoff for medium complexity projects.

  • Perform business, operational changes to system tables and the testing associated to changes or enhancements.

  • Provide input into documentation and training materials for medium complexity projects. Capture, incorporate and document business policy and procedure changes within the department/business line to meet requirements where appropriate.


  • Three or more year of experience working with IT related systems/projects preferred. Three or more years of experience in an analytical role preferred.

  • Experience in a functional process oriented field, preferred. Business Analyst experience is preferred.

  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) a big plus.

  • Capacity for engineering, optimizing or redefining business processes.

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or related degree in Engineering, Business, Computer or Science is required. Consideration may be given to candidates with extensive related experience (5 or more years) as a business analyst performing a broad array of business analyst's competencies, without the academic requirement.

  • Three or more years of experience working with the System Development Life Cycle, Iterative or Agile methodology preferred.

  • Three or more years working with the Microsoft Office tools required. Thorough PC/computer skills and knowledge required.

  • IIBA or PMI certification a plus.
