Service and Materials Planner Buyer

9 - 12 months contract to start

Amarillo, TX 79101

Looking for Service and Materials Planner Buyer Agent who has 2-5 years placing Purchase Orders through an ERP system in support of parts/equipment/services.

  • Contractor will work with multiple business areas and could utilize the RFP process for evaluating bidders and negotiating and executing agreements within the existing sourcing strategy.

  • Experience with negotiating terms and conditions is a plus

  • Familiarity with sourcing best practices a plus. SAP knowledge a plus.


Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Project Management, Business, Finance or equivalent experience required.

Requires 2 years of Purchasing or logistics experience or previous experience in plant operations or Utility field operation.

Basic contract knowledge, negotiation and project management skills preferred.

Must be customer focused, well organized and able to multi-task.

Strong interpersonal skills are required.

May be required to attend meetings in several different locations.

Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management ( CPSM ) is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft office suite and ERP systems is preferred.
