Job Description

We are seeking an experienced change manager to support our Automation Program. The Automation Program is currently underway and the change manager is needed for the remainder of 2018. The change manager will manage, coordinate, and execute all change management activities and report to the project/program manager.



  • The primary responsibility will be to focus on the people side of change to help employees transition through change by minimizing resistance and ensuring successful project outcomes.

  • Changes may be related to business processes, systems, technology, job roles and/or organization structures.

  • We subscribe to a standard change management approach that is leveraged for all change management efforts. The change manager will be expected to adhere to company change management standards (tools, templates, methods, etc.) and approval workflow.

  • The change manager must have detailed experience and knowledge in change management methods and techniques.

  • Change manager activities will include but not be limited to: communicating the case for change, conducting the change impact assessment and stakeholder analysis for impactful automation projects, preparing deliverables associated with key interventions to address change (e.g, training, communications), leadership alignment & engagement, employee engagement, communications plan, change readiness & associated metrics, and development of automation support resources.

  • The change manager will deliver key activities mentioned above by end of their expected roll off date.

  • Although every project is unique, it will be expected that the change manager will work with the project team to complete specific activities with associated deliverables. The job activities below summarize these tasks and deliverables (this list is representative, not comprehensive). It is expected that the change manager will tailor these deliverables for the project.
    - Communicating the case for change,
    - Conducting the change impact assessment and stakeholder analysis for impactful automation projects,
    - Preparing deliverables associated with key interventions to address change (e.g, training, communications), leadership alignment & engagement, employee engagement, communications plan, change readiness & associated metrics, and
    - Development of automation support resource


Qualifications



  • 5 years of experience functioning in Change Management in an enterprise environment

  • Demonstrated experience working with change management standards
