Communications/Content Strategist


Opportunity Overview


Responsibility Summary


This position is responsible for partnering with senior associates and Marketing leaders to support internal communication plans and related deliverables to communicate a holistic message that drives action within a specific target audience. This includes writing and editing divisional and branch-facing communication.


Key Responsibilities



  • Proofreading, writing and editing content

  • Executing strategic communication programs to educate and drive investor and client engagement/action

  • Incorporating client and investor insights into communication

  • Support projects that communicate and reinforce the firm's brand principles and key differentiator to internal audiences

  • Support channel strategy and execution of internal communication content



Preferred Work Schedule/Hours 8-5




Position Requirements


Required:



  • A writing sample from the candidate is required upon submittal ; candidates submitted without a writing sample will not be considered and declined in the system

  • Demonstrated experience in writing (3+ years) for different media - digital, social, email, print, etc. - and determining appropriate channels to communicate relevant messages to target audiences

  • Graphic design (specifically in Microsoft PowerPoint)

  • Superior copy editing and proofreading skills and knowledge of grammar, punctuation rules and AP Style.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and processes in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word

  • Degree in Journalism, Communication, English or related field



Preferred:



  • Experience in business or corporate communications (highly preferred)

  • Thorough understanding of financial services environment and requirements related to marketing them
