Job Responsibilities

  • Project Management
  • Responsible for development and implementation of requirements and deliverables, working closely with portal technical to ensure alignment on tasks and timelines.
  • Escalates issues as appropriate based on severity and impact (TCS, SDL).
  • Responsible for system and integration testing planning and execution.
  • Responsible for cutover planning and execution for all HR integrations and support hypercare for integration related defect resolution
  • Leads resource planning efforts for technical, content and PM activities.
  • Facilitate solutions to resolve issues (TCS, SDL)
  • Ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date with project progress via regular communications and meetings.
  • Lead portal thread for various HR and non-HR projects and evaluate implications of initiatives (e.g., EI upgrades, mobile, SailPoint, AD provisioning, company intranet) - enterprise
  • Operations
    • Provides oversight on portal day-to-day operations (TCS, SDL)
    • Manages off shore portal technical resources (dev team), oversight for all technical activities, and liaison with IT teams (infrastructure, security, EIS, AD, etc.) TCS, SDL)
    • Oversight of all technical documentation - technical architecture/specs, functional design document, monthly deployment documents, etc.
    • Reviews and prioritizes support tickets - defects (TCS, SDL)
    • Functional enhancements
    • Provides design direction and sign-off for portal functionality
    • Owns portal governance, standards and processes. Continually makes improvements wherever possible.
    • Evaluate and make recommendations on enhancements to portal functionality based on technology upgrades, usability studies, user feedback/requests and best practices
    • Owns and drives continuous improvement program; coordinates with global and regional content leads; and COEs on recommended enhancements and content improvements.
    • Serves as the portal asset owner for approvals and other security requirements and audits
    • Ensures the HR portal and content is meeting the needs of users, and meets portal standards and guidelines
    • Serves on various HR project teams to determine information architecture, release considerations and timing; and coordinate with global and regional content leads
    • Member of HR technology leadership team
    • Oversight for the portal information architecture / taxonomy, taking into account global and local implications.
    • Provides review/sign off for all portal deployments
    • Provide training and coaching to Portal Functional Lead, ensure back-up resources have knowledge of the portal, processes, CMS, etc.
    • Oversight for onboarding and training of portal resources - Functional Lead, Global / Regional Content Leads, HRSC content resources.
    • Responsible for timely issue identification and resolution according to established SLAs (TCS, SDL)
    • Provide Tier 2 portal support for HRSC content resources.


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Technology or Business field OR equivalent experience
