JOB DESCRIPTION:



  • As a Technical Product Manager, you will bring your engineering, project management, and leadership skill to plan requirements with the marketing and architecture teams, create and manage the release schedules, discuss technical trade-off in product development with the developers, and communicate the development team analysis and recommendation to the Marketing organization.

  • This is a high visibility role requiring individual initiative coupled with strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Provide the required project management, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.

  • Work closely with Marketing and architecture groups to plan requirements, and with the software engineers, QA, and other engineering teams to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle (build, test and release on time).

  • Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.

  • Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment.

  • As a Technical Product Manager, you provide hands-on technical and application support, including demonstrations and technical consultation.




QUALIFICATIONS



  • BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent degree

  • 3 years of experience as a product manager, or technology strategy role

  • Experience developing cloud-based product and technologies

  • Experience working with engineering, marketing, and architecture teams

  • Experience working in a fast-paced service-oriented release environment with specific experience developing project plans and managing releases on short cycles (Agile, Scrum).




PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 5+ years of experience as product manager of web services, cloud, IoT or related field

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong writing and presentation development skills
