Job Description


  • Responsible for the planning, organization and completion of organizational projects.

  • The primary project of focus will be a community based energy efficiency program pursuing economic development through utility investments in economically challenged communities.

  • Develops project plans, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares status reports for upper management.

  • Work in a multi-project environment, establishing and maintaining integrity of relationship ties with the integrated project schedule.

  • Perform horizontal and vertical reviews with project team members to ensure completeness in critical path definition and resource requirements.

  • Develop baseline schedules and schedule related performance indicators for monitoring of performance.

  • Collect/enter daily updates, perform daily analysis of schedule performance relative to project progress.

  • Creating and updating Project management documentation for Project Managers; Creating and maintaining excel database(s). Creating tracking database. Collection and input of monthly data into tracking database; Preparation and transfer of data to evaluation contractors; Creation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports.

  • Verify customer records for vendor support; Monitor customer inquiries; Data analysis.

  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks as requested, including but not limited to document organizing, document development and formatting, calendar planning/scheduling, industry research and problem solving.

  • Other duties as requested.

  • Some travel may be required.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 4 year degree preferred in business, economics, information technology or similar area of study.

    A 4 year degree is preferred but the manager would be ok with someone who has only completed some coursework.



  • PMP certification preferred.

  • Must have good written and oral skills and ability to respond to customer inquiries.

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

  • Required to proactively manage multiple tasks and take initiative to find resolutions to issues.

  • Must be detail oriented and follow-through to completion.

  • Demonstrated experience working with a variety of computer programs

  • Experience working with Project Managers and supporting Project Management activities

  • Energy Efficiency or Residential Homes experience; Electric Utility experience a plus.

  • Must be able to create project schedules using MS Project 2010.

  • Must be able to work in Excel 2010 to create graphs and analyze data.

  • Must be able to assist in creation of presentations using PowerPoint 2010.

  • Knowledge of SharePoint is preferred.

  • Good mathematical skills and ability to understand technical information.
