Project Coordinator (Utilities )

Support Process Integration

Work with AGIS ( Advanced Grid Intelligence and Security ) PMO Project Manager and Business Integration Manager to support projects which align with the current project phase and desired outcomes. Gathers, analyzes, translates and delivers information in clear, concise and meaningful formats based on specific project and/or program requirements and according to established project management standards. Provides the project manager support and assistance in scheduling, documentation, communication and cost management. Updates the project plan. Assists in information collection and validations. Provides input to project research information.

Duties include:

  • Provide support for end-to-end process alignment and continuity by scheduling and supporting process "wall walks" or other mechanisms to identify gaps in processes
  • Collaborate with PMO, Business Integration leadership, and other groups to support business needs and implement business process governance
  • Work with Data Governance team to identify data impacts inherent in the defined business processes
  • Support standardized AGIS business processes
  • Ensure consistency of process documentation standards across AGIS programs Interface with Business Unit Leadership
  • Track and monitor business process strategy/governance materials
  • Ability to negotiate changes to commitments/requirements
  • Ability to coordinate large team activities to drive integration across multiple programs
  • Understanding of Project Management
  • Ability to maintain documentation and document processes
  • Ability to review program deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established program standards
  • Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed

  • Minimal travel may be required.

  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Proficient in MS Office products
  • Highly prefer a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Utilities industry

  • Working understanding and knowledge of Utilities business applications desired
  • Distribution and Customer Service is desired
  • MS Project desired
