Job Description

  • Project Manager is responsible for identifying and resolving project issues, making sure the project progresses on schedule and on budget.

  • A project manager is the point of communication with stakeholders and is accountable for the project's success.

  • A project manager seeks help from a project coordinator to expedite tasks after the planning phase.

  • A project manager must have good communication skills in acting as the liaison between the project team, subcontractor, customer and upper management.

  • PM's communications keep the project flowing.

  • PM identifies potential problems and encourages suggestions to improve the overall performance of the project for customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Efficiently and effectively execute projects which are part of the Digital Workplace program.

  • Balance both internal and external stakeholder interests and keep both sides in sync over time.

  • Understand customers' requirements, address their changing needs and manage the dynamics of those changes.

  • Defines requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.

  • Defines resources and schedule for project/program implementation.

  • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.

  • Plans and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones.

  • Directs and oversees project engineering team and manages conflicts within group.

  • Performs project team assessments and evaluations.

  • Efficiently identifies and solves project issues.

  • Demonstrates leadership to define requirements for project risk.

  • Develop Requests for Proposals (RFP) for external services.

  • Designs and maintains technical and project documentation. Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.

Project Specifics: This project will be a vendor delivered cloud hosted Analytics solution.


  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Background in Electric Engineering or Power System Engineering - strongly preferred

  • PMP/ASM/ACP - preferred

  • Understanding of Analytic/Engineering Models to assist our vendor in defining the rules/logic utilized to alert adverse asset condition/health - preferred
