Job Description

This position is for a member of the MasterCard development team focusing on Quality Assurance and Testing of solutions.
• The Billing System (MCBS) centralizes the billing function for key products and services into a single system. The system provides customers with detailed billing information for processing services.

•Experienced professional with a firm knowledge of application support, testing and quality practices and protocols that enable the individual to deliver reports according to defined protocol, while meeting established timelines. Document issues as they arise and monitors resolutions. To work as an integral member of the project testing and development teams.

Role:
•Participate in requirements discussion, test planning, test data creation and execution of User Acceptance testing Plan, design and develop technical solutions and alternatives to meet business requirements in adherence with MasterCard standards, processes and best practices.

•Responsible for testing, implementation, documentation, maintenance and support of systems application software in adherence with MasterCard standards, processes and best practices.

•Work with project team to meet scheduled due dates, while identifying emerging issues and recommending solutions for problems and independently perform assigned tasks.
•Document software programs per Software Development Best Practices. Follow Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
•Assist Senior Team members in modification of the documentation templates per the needs of the project and technology.
•Contribute ideas to help ensure that required standards and processes are in place and actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency.
•Support collection and reporting of project and software metrics.

About You
•Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
•Must be high-energy, detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.
•Must provide the necessary skills to have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities.
•Strong communication skills -- both verbal and written - with strong relationship, collaborative skills and organizational skills.
•Ability to work as a member of matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team.
•Experience in Agile using Behavior driven development framework.
Technical Skills in Unix Scripting,SQL, Database. Prior knowledge in IME and SingleView ( Billing products from CSGI is huge plus
Prior experience in supporting and testing software tools upgrade is good to have.
