Plans and conducts sensory panel evaluations on products, raw materials and in-process materials per company quality system requirements. Interprets, evaluates, and reports the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision.
Manages the recruitment, training and validation of taste panelists.
Performs a variety of sensory methods including qualitative tests, difference tests and descriptive tests for monitoring and ensuring the quality of company products. Links sensory results with a basic understanding of brewing and packaging.
Partners with quality specialists and process leaders to enable and drive continuous and focused improvement to reduce variability in each process area as related to the flavor of in-process or package product.
Is responsible for adhering to all rules, regulations, policies, programs and related company Quality Management System including SQF, HACCP and GMP to ensure safety and quality of company products.
