Sr. HR Generalist

Opportunity Overview

This individual would assist the Policy team by:

  • Creating and/or maintaining firm-wide human resources policies, processes and procedures.
  • Researching employment laws and regulations, monitoring trends and reviewing market data.
  • Synthesizing data and insights from various sources to inform recommendations or solutions.
  • Supporting the implementation of new or amended human resources policies, and related processes with some potential participation in projects.
  • Assisting the team with ADA case management including some direct support to leaders and associates through the interactive process. Managing FINRA accommodations, ordering approved accommodation software/equipment, data entry of approvals, etc.
  • Managing operational processes that are currently being handled by associates on the team.

Position Requirements

  • HR Generalist background - general knowledge of federal and state employment laws and general HR processes
  • Experience creating and maintaining processes to operationalize policies/programs
  • Experience managing ADA accommodation cases working directly with leaders and associates at all levels
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and MicroSoft Word skills
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with Oracle PeopleSoft a plus
