Sr Project Leader/Business Analyst

Opportunity Overview

  • Engages with SMEs to incorporate UX, Lien/Six Sigma, or Business Process Management (BPM) when designing new or updated business processes

  • Support the analysis and validation of project data to ensure key activities are appropriately captured, governed, reported/controlled, and improved

  • Provides data driven insights and innovation across the PMO Governance portfolio

  • Assist with process and tool improvements for Project Life Cycle (PLC), KPI reporting, and data governance

  • Maintain the current and help develop future state Project Life Cycle (PLC)

  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders throughout the firm and collaborate on system changes or process improvements

  • Participate in projects and initiatives as directed by PMO leadership, as needed

Position Requirements

  • Strong emphasis on processes and methodologies

  • Understanding of IT and business concepts, with experience in Systems Development, Project Management, Program Management, Portfolio Management, and/or Infrastructure Maintenance & Support

  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and written communication

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

  • General knowledge of software development methodologies (i.e., SDLC, Agile, RAD, etc.)

  • Extensive knowledge of one or more project management methodologies (i.e., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, CPM, PRiSM, etc.)

  • Has a strong understanding of project, program, and portfolio management

  • Experience in the Business process management (BPM) with the use of various methods to discover, model, analyze, measure, improve, optimize, and automate business processes.

  • Experience with BPM methodologies (BPM, Lien/Six Sigma, etc.) REQUIRED

  • Familiarity with Reporting Tools and Data Warehouse

  • Proficient in a PPM and mapping tools (MS Project, CA/Clarity, Jira, Visio etc.)

  • Knowledgeable in organizational change management techniques

  • Ability to elicit detail requirements, functional requirements, capture business needs, and clearly articulate and document both.

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Analysis and Management, or other Business Related equivalent
