Senior Project Manager


The Sr. Project Manager will manage small, minor and major capital projects from beginning to end (concept, scope, estimate, cost, resources, funding, etc.) They will manage the design engineering and the construction process. The Sr. Project Manager will coordinate with the client as well as various other groups inside and outside of the organization.


  1. Provide preliminary engineering including:

  2. Develop the design concept to meet project needs of the division.

  3. Prepare preliminary cost estimate and time schedule.

  4. Make an engineering evaluation of the possible sites, if requested.

  5. Secure approvals from Engineering management as required.

  6. Manage the development of design documents for assigned projects.

  7. Approve equipment list and procurement schedule.

  8. Select contractors and contracting methods.

  9. Direct construction phase of project.

  10. Secure approvals for all changes in projects.

  11. Provide plant startup assistance.

  12. Prepare costs and project status reports.

  13. Develop and maintain data, calculations, estimates, schedules, correspondence, and

files in an orderly manner for reference. Establish permanent records of project

for future reference.

  1. Hold regular project reviews during design and construction phases.

  2. Management responsibility for any assigned personnel.

  3. Evaluate and select construction firms, write contracts.

  4. Control costs, schedule and scope of projects.

  5. Provide startup assistance for project and manage construction activities.

  6. Provide final cost estimate and schedule for small, minor and major projects.
