Job Title: Data Entry Specialist

Opportunity Overview


The Compliance division helps ensure the company puts the client's interest first and operates in accordance with securities rules, regulations and laws. They manage the firm's relationships with regulatory agencies and work with regulators and other industry participants to influence the rulemaking process for the benefit of our clients and the firm.




Position Summary



  • This position is responsible for maintaining and updating key client account information according to SEC 17a-3.

  • The Contingent Workforce Verification Letter Specialist position will process account information updates as request by clients on returned verification letters.

  • This is a processing position. The contractor will be held to minimum processing measures and error rate limits. (data entry scores required with the submittal)

  • For each type of document, they will review, assess and apply compliance guidelines and process/enter data accordingly.

  • They will be utilizing multiple systems to process these letters (Communication screen, USNA and LexisNexis).


Training



  • Up to one week of training regarding process, systems and Compliance guidelines.

  • This training will be on the job with an associate on the team.

  • This will include the contractors shadowing the associate and the associate then shadowing the contractors.


Position Requirements



  • Previous high volume operational and/or data entry experience (please submit data entry scores)

  • Prominent organizational and communication skills

  • Capability to quickly gain an understanding of processing requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and team environment


Required Skills:


Strong Communication skills: Written communication to branch offices or departments must be professional, concise and effective.




Technical/Computer: Functional computer, word processing and spreadsheet skills


Ability to quickly gain an understanding of firm utilized systems


Preferred Skills: College degree
